4 Items for Your Math Class Play Table to Enhance Problem Solving Skills

Introducing play elements into the classroom has greatly enhanced my students' engagement and learning experience. When it comes to math, incorporating a play table can be an effective tool to help students develop problem-solving skills in a fun and interactive way. Here are four types of items that you can include on your math class play table to promote problem-solving skills and collaboration among your students:
1. Manipulatives
Manipulatives are physical objects that students can use to visualize and manipulate mathematical concepts. They can be anything from blocks, cubes, or counters. By providing manipulatives on the play table, students can explore and experiment, helping them develop a deeper understanding of concepts like number sense, geometry, and measurement. 2. Puzzles
